"What is a 'Friend ID'?"
Your friend id is a numerical identification used by myspace to conduct basic site functions. Some mistake this with their Unique Myspace URL example (http://www.myspace.com/unique_name_here) Please follow the instructions below to find your friend id:
- Login to your Myspace.com account
- Click on 'View Profile' (DO NOT REQUEST YOUR PROFILE DIRECTLY WITH YOUR UNIQUE URL)
- Direct your attention to the end of the Page URL. You will notice the text "friendid=" The numbers that follow are your friend id. Image below

If after login you are redirected back to the homepage and there is NO ERROR apparent (should appear directly above the login form) then chances are you have COOKIES DISABLED, ENABLE COOKIES and the problem will go away. "Do you or are you trying to phish myspace accounts?"
